Dimensional accounting items
When posting items in NAV, it is not uncommon that companies want to be able to post the revenue and costs to different cost centers and dimensions for further follow-up. The problem of the standard is that the system takes the dimensions of item for all bookings that take place.
The solution to this is to set up the accounts with the cost centers as well as other dimensions to be used in bookkeeping. This requirement is set to "Same code" to the combination of account and dimensions must be at bookkeeping.
